Honestly, too expensive for the size of the apartment. Especially since the surrounding area has gone down hill over the last 4 years. Yes, this is a nice apartment/apartment complex but the price per square footage is honestly ridiculous at the end of the day, especially in this economy. There just aren’t enough amenities/perks for what residents are paying.

Her communication skills go above and beyond. - listens/reads thoroughly first, explains and answers all of my questions concerns, helps me to understand the apartment rules that I didn't get to fully understand before, follows up within 24 hours, and great manner as she interacts with possible stressful environment. I appreciate all the help she gave me in the month of February 2025 and she is one of the reasons why signed for a new lease. I lived here for 6.5 years. It's fine. Pros: • Complex is cared for (i.e., pool cleaning, tree trimming, painting, landscaping, etc.) • Fairly quiet (at least my building was) • Covered parking • Guest parking • Rarely dealt with power outages • Packages were never stolen (may have to do with my apartment location - 2nd floor) • Clean/ideal workout facility • User-friendly resident portal Cons: • Price (2019 - $995 to 2024 - $1,330) (for what little space I had, it didn't make sense to pay this much + utilities) • Non-negotiable valet trash fee (some like this, but I would've rather spared the monthly $40 and taken care of it myself) • Roaches (3-5 instances total; pest control helped) *even though I made a habit of keeping my apt tidy at all times* • Occasional internet disconnections (I had Spectrum) • Rushed renovation before move-in (dried dripping paint on the walls/baseboards, loose carpet corners/edges, paint smears, dents/chips in the cabinets, etc.) • Broken entry/exit gates (sometimes they were left

I enjoy living here. The complex is nice, safe and the services are awesome. Being hygiene-obsessed, I really appreciate how clean the gym is, allowing me to use it regularly. The management and maintenance teams are always attentive to my needs. Definitely recommend this place.

Living here is great I can’t say enough good things about Sara in the office. She’s incredibly kind and always goes above and beyond to make sure I feel comfortable and supported. As someone with autism, I sometimes need a bit of extra clarification or assistance with certain things, and Sara is always patient, understanding, and willing to help. It’s such a relief to have someone as compassionate and attentive as Sara, especially when those needs arise. Her support truly makes my experience here feel like home.

Cortland North Dallas is a great place to live! The property is well cared for, and the neighbors are respectful. The office has been of great assistance for me as well. Cortland North Dallas has been nothing but wonderful! I applied and moved in within a couple days. Great apartments, super clean, and I love the gym with the rock climbing wall! Large community with several pools. Shout out to Dani and Steven for helping me with anything I need!

Cortland North Dallas has a really nice maintenance and property management team. I’d like to leave a special review for Mr. Nestor, who helped fix couple of things in my apartment on urgent basis and did a clean job at it. My kitchen sink faucet needed a replacement as the hot water supply was not working and I need a fresh set of blinds as the blinds were broken. Mr. Nestor and team fixed both the issues in a matter of 48 hours with best service quality possible. Thankful for the instant care and dedicated service of the maintenance team.

My decision to sign a lease with Cortland North Dallas 8 months ago was a direct result of Angelica’s impeccable customer service and attention to detail. Prior to my appointment at Cortland, I had several awful experiences touring other properties, with leasing consultants who were unprepared and disgruntled that I even showed up. I was so worried I was going to end up settling for a place I didn’t love, and then Angelica saved the day. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived to the leasing office. She called me ahead of time to review my “must haves”, and was fully prepared to show me around. Upon my arrival, she had already printed off several layouts within my price range, with unit numbers, move in dates, and pricing. She made the application process a breeze. She kept in touch with me throughout the move in process to ensure it went smoothly. It's only been a few weeks since I moved into my apartment at Cortland North Dallas, but so far I'm really pleased with my decision. The community is clean and fairly quiet, with great amenities like a fitness center, clubhouse, and multiple pools. The location is awesome, with easy access to major roads but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, and conveniently close to grocery stores and shopping plazas. My favorite part about living here so far has been the management team! Everyone who I've come in contact with has been friendly, professional, and very responsive. I also like that they host different community events. I haven't been able to attend any yet because of my work schedule but I think it's nice that they offer them. :) Overall I'm happy here at Cortland North Dallas and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place!

Let me start off by saying we toured this apartment while staying in a hotel and needed a place to move into the next day. The day after we toured, we moved in. They were extremely efficient and flexible. We recently switched and renewed our lease and they were also extremely flexible in getting us in the place we wanted after we changed our minds a bunch. We’ve worked with Angelica the whole time we’ve lived here and she’s extremely responsive, kind, and always remembers the little things! The staff respond super quickly so we’re never frustrated with communication. We have love loved this apartment so much over the past few months we’ve been here. Not only are these apartments INCREDIBLY nice on the inside and reasonably priced for the really good location, but the complex is BEAUTIFUL! It is maintained better than any apartment we’ve ever lived at- it’s always picked up, any trash or glass is always cleaned up, they have doggie bags ALWAYS filled at every station (my fav thing) so I don’t have to buy my ow

Cortland North Dallas has been nothing but amazing to me! I had an apartment I was supposed to move in to somewhere else but it fell through at the last minute and I called Cortland North Dallas and applied the same day which was a Friday and I was approved and moved in by Wednesday! My partner and I moved here from out of state two months ago and the entire process from the moment we applied up until the day we moved in was very quick and smooth. I have been very impressed with this community in the short two months I have been here. The apartment itself is spacious and the updated finishes give it a very modern feel. The maintenance team usually responds to and completes requests in the same day which is always great. I’d also like to give a special shout-out to Angelica from the leasing office! She was the person who made this process for us moving from out of state so easy. The communication was quick and consistent. She was able to fully articulate thoroughly the answers to any question that we had. I have nothing but good things to say about Angelica and the entire leasing office team!

I am truly impressed with this community, i really enjoyed my stay here, i would highly recommend this community to others. Maintenance crew is very quick, usually solve the issues within 1-2 days. The gym is very good and clean , enjoyed working out there. Swimming pools are also well maintained.

Cortland North Dallas is by far one of the most affordable apartments in the north Dallas area. The Office Staff is phenomenal they provide Virtually perfect customer service since I've been living here for many years . Whenever I put in a maintenance request , the maintenance staff Hands-down takes care of you without a doubt within 24hrs or less. I'm very comfortable here. I don't plan on moving until I get ready to purchase a home. Location of the apartment complex is central. It's surrounded by many different stores which makes it easy for you to live life. I would definitely recommend this place if you were looking for a nice comfortable affordable apartment where The environment is safe. There is little to no crime in the apartment complex area.

I've lived here a little over a year and the maintenance staff have stood out to me. Today I submitted a maintenance request because my AC was out and Nestor arrived in under an hour to fix it. Been living in Cortland for the past Month and a half - moved to this community because they have the best pricing for a 1bhk with a good square foot space and amenities. Love how accessible the property is from everywhere. Best perk: Covered parking spot and in house laundry unit - Included in your rental pricing! Through the whole process of house hunting for about 2months, thanks to Ms. Sara at Cortland for helping me feel welcome to the community and for being very cooperative while I asked her a thousand questions. Love living here and would definitely recommend the community for anyone wanting to live in the north dallas area.

This place is great! I had to move quickly, I was signing my lease within a week. Sara at the front office is awesome, anytime i’ve had any questions or concerns she is always on it and very helpful. the apartment itself is very nice, so far i’ve had only one issue (with a gate remote) and it was resolved very quickly. I’ve lived in 4 different complexes and this one is by far the only one that truly deserves a 5 star review! Everything was taken care of with care and urgency when i moved in and the staff continues to live up to a professional and respectful standard. Highly recommended!

July 2022: My experience with Alaina was great! I made a big move from Massachusetts to Dallas and Alaina was super helpful throughout every step of the process. From visiting/touring the property, getting ready to move in, to the actual move in itself— everything was seamless & stress free. I’m loving my new neighborhood. I’ve been here almost a month now & still feel supported by Alaina & the office if/when I have questions or concerns! Been here for going on 9 months and never had any issues. Service team is super fast (usually same or next day) and nice! Still loving it. February 2024: been here for almost 2 years and have no regrets moving here. Will be moving to a new apartment closer to work but I would recommend Cortland North Dallas to anyone! Super quiet and safe community. Friendly staff and always clean!! Will truly miss it, great first apartment experience.

I am exuberant to call this place my home. I moved about two months ago after a thorough research on the internet. To my surprise, the reality surpassed my expectation. I have a great view with a beautiful balcony, thoughtfully designed interior in terms of space and materials. I feel elevated every time I walk through the gate and only find myself grateful when I'm home.

The overall experience here at north Dallas is AMAZING. They’re very respectful and responsive to their tenants. The process of moving is quick and the apartment complex itself is top notch. They pick up your trash for you, host events that you can attend, it’s very quiet and the people are friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. I've really enjoyed living here already! It's been under a month but the staff and maintenance are exceptional. Francisco from the maintenance team is always extremely helpful. Angelica and Sarah from the leasing office are super sweet and always more than helpful. The property is well maintained and respected. Residents are quiet and peaceful. Great place!

I have just moved in here and so far the staff need to work on throughly resolving conflict. My electricity was off the first 48+ hours living here because of an easy fix on the staff's end that they did not make sure to double check. I was able to resolve this issue after asking Francisco from the maintenance team for help. 2 weeks prior to me arriving I was told my electricity had been set up ahead of time. I feel these things should have been reviewed and confirmed by the staff before my arrival. I'm so glad Francisco helped me, he saved my stress a bunch. I dont want to sound harsh towards the staff as I am still happy to call this place home but I feel the team may need to work on throughly solving problems and looking at all ends of an issue first.

OP: I've lived here for just around a year. For the most part, great place to live. Maintenance is AMAZING. However, it's sometimes a challenge getting help you need from the front office and may require some follow up.

Apartment searching can be very stressful. Clayton was very helpful at answering my questions and quick to make sure all my requests were made. I love the fact that he’s willing to assist hands on which is very difficult to find these days with managers who just sit in the office and allow the leasing team do all the work. Our apartment had a few issues that needed resolving after we moved in, the leasing staff were quick to send maintenance out to take care of our concerns. Nestor (maintenance crew) did super quick work and made sure everything was taken care of. He was really flexible and worked around my schedule.

I moved in January of this year and have had a great experience all around! The apartment itself is great, it's pretty quiet and a nice area surrounded by homes, maintenance is super responsive if there's anything wrong too. I moved from another Cortland location and don't plan on living in another community unless I have to! The complaints are that sometimes they'll close a maintenance request without reaching out at all. Nothing that has been a big deal, but unprofessional. I don't think they've answered any calls since I moved in either. Which is pretty frustrating.

Clayton and his team in the office are top notch! They listen to tenants and take time to get to know the community here at CND. The maintenance team here are also rock stars. There are many different events here if you would like to get to know your neighbors. Also the gym is always clean and cool(temp)! Also, there are lots of dog waste stations and nearby park to walk.

I went to tour this property the other day. Although I am unsure if I’m going to move there because I am considering a different property closer to downtown, it was very nice. The leasing agent who helped me, Sara, was amazing! She greeted me right away and took me through the tour even though I was 30 mins early to my appointment. She answered all of my questions & was extremely sweet & professional. The area is safe, clean, & quiet. The apartment I toured was a studio. It was very small, but very clean, had great natural lighting, and modern furnishings. Because of this experience, I will still keep this property in mind.

They are VERY quick with maintenance requests. Quiet neighborhood besides the occasional car alarm but thats every property. My unit was clean, pest free. Staff has been kind and attentive. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for an apartment in north dallas. My only complaint is my unit does not cool past 74-75 in the summer which forces my ac to stay on almost 24/7, more than doubling almost tripling my usual electric bill and its still hot inside and thats with almost no other appliance use. Its uncomfortable during the day so keep that in mind if u cant tolerate much heat

I have lived here going on 3 years and in 3 different apartments based on my needs, it has always been and easy transition from one place to the next and it there were any issues they were dealt with immediately. There has been a lot of office turnover since I've been here but they have always been professional and never miss a beat, Ashely is now the community Manager and is accommodating to the best of her ability. They answer phones, emails and questions which seems to be a big let down at some other places in the area. CND has been a great place to call home.

2YEAR UPDATE: since my initial review I have renewed a second and now a third time, its still a great place to live. There is quite a bit of turnover in the office but no lack of professionalism, Ashley is the new Community Manager and she is helpful and engaging and Sara is a new leasing agent (hopefully) and she was very helpful to me today. I had thought about leaving due to the rising rent prices in Dallas, and Ashley made sure to find a solution to keep me here, so I am transferring units ( again lol I went from a studio, to a 2x1 and now a big 1bd), I appreciate her efforts!

I moved into Cortland couple weeks ago and so far it has been great, especially Edson on the maintenance. There were several problems with the room when I moved in such as loud noise in the bathroom, and broken sink in the bathroom, but Edson and others does their jobs very fast. The broken sink is going to be fixed hopefully this week, so once that is fixed everything will be great. Will see how my first year goes though but so far I really like my room and this apartment. Shoutout to Sergio and Louis for being patient with me for all the work orders as well as Edson and others on the maintenance team for completing all the orders.

This is the first place I toured when I started searching about six months ago. The prices were higher than the other places that are around but inside they were a lot nicer and having a gym with cycling bikes and a big TV to follow along with the workouts impressed me I have always been so nervous about going to the gym and using the bikes or to the classes because I am still a beginner but since I am able to do it on my own whenever I get out of work or before I go to work as been great. This is only the third place I have lived on my own, but it is the nicest. I like that we have a carport parking and we don’t have to pay extra for that. When I applied it, it take a little bit long to get approved but everything went through so that made me happy. I will give another review in a few more months, because I am thinking about possibly going to a different building so I can be closer to the dog park.

Been living here for half a year. Very good so far. The maintenance has been awesome. Nextor was able to fix issues within the apartment very quickly. One issue is that there is an airport nearby and there is a very loud aircraft sounds pretty consistently, which you get used to. So be careful if you are very sensitive to sounds.

Well deserved 5/5 after living here for 1.5 years. Cortland is fantastic. Seems like all of their apartment complexes have great reviews. If you’re looking for an apartment, I strongly recommend including a Cortland apartment into your consideration. Maintenance was always within a day. Management was nice. Units are in good condition and at a very good rate.

Very nice beautiful clean apartments, I moved here from out of town and I loved it so much. Unfortunately my life took a turn for the worse and I had to move unexpectedly but I will always recommend these beautiful apartments as a place to call home. I truly enjoyed living here this was my first home in Texas. The Grounds welp kept , pools always clean, management was very nice. The apartments are big with high ceilings spacious tubs everything !

The maintenence guys and staff at the leasing office are always very nice and professional. The couple of times I needed maintenance it was done same day and the guys were very friendly. I would like to say Alaina Harvey was the absolute best though the move in process! Great Customer Service and helped me with so many different questions I had upon moving in ! Everything was clean, only thing was the toilet didn’t work from the last tenant moving out, but she immediately helped me with putting in a maintenance request for that !! 5 stars just because of her ! Landscape/grounds were clean and overall the entire unit was clean ! Very Pleased !

I’ve lived here for a yr and I really did enjoy my stay no one bothered me, I felt safe as a young lady in her 20s, it was clean too!! The gates had minor issues closing but majority of the time they were closed! 3 pools so one isn’t always crowded. I will say, I hated the stairs I didn’t think I would since I workout constantly but when u have groceries to carry, goodluck! My unit I had “the Kelly” 1bed/1bath perfect for one and a furry friend very spacious!! Also the maintenance guy Edson is amazing ! Anything I needed done he went above and beyond, very quick with his tasks and still managed to fix whatever I needed perfectly !!! 5stars to him !!! Overall, if ur a young lady and not trying to pay a ridiculous amount on rent I would highly recommend this place. the staff are friendly and so sweet!

Before moving to this complex, I had not lived in an apartment in 6 years so I wasn’t sure what to expect; all I knew is that I needed a unit with a yard because I have large dogs. I am rolling into my second year lease and since day one I have little to no issues with staff, maintenance, amenities, etc. Moral of the story, everything is as the staff who originally leased me this property said it would be. The pools are relatively quiet in comparison to some of my friends resident pools are. The current community manager, Caitlyn, has been a large part in why I have extended my lease into a second year. There were promises made by my original leasing agent that Caitlyn insured were upheld and even worked her magic to make sure I got a turfed yard for my dogs as was promised by my original leasing agent. Overall, I think with not having lived in an apartment in 6 years and after looking at very few options, this ended up being a really great company to lease from and I have enjoyed my time here as tenant.

Awesome property! The layouts of the apartments are awesome, All of the people who work here are so great anytime you need anything they are super helpful and always friendly! This property is the best in the area. I love my upgraded apartment and the new pools! My family and I spend a lot of time outside and get full use of all the amenities. This is luxury living . There is a lot of green space to walk , My apartment is great and on the interior seems like a nice hotel. I enjoy having a washer and dryer unit as well as ample storage space due to the spacious closets and cabinetry. I’ve lived here 2-3 years and I love the maintenance team. They’re the best in the business. Office team is sweet, you just have to be patient with them. Property is well taken care of. Nice appliances. Pet friendly. I don’t hear a lot of noise at night. My only complaint is the neighbors don’t clean up after their puppies sometimes. It makes some breezeways between the buildings smell putrid. Especially when it’s left in people’s yards for days at a time. I feel as though people should be fined for this. But other than that, it’s a nice place to live. I haven’t met an unfriendly neighbor yet

I really enjoyed my stay here, I had some problems but maintenance was very quick and came either the same day or next (depending on the time) to help me. I know some people make comments about the old washer & dryers (not being "luxury") in the unit but it didn't bother me. The package room situation is the only thing you should be aware of if receiving packages. Sometimes lockers get full so packages are left on the floor (by the carrier). Never had a package stolen because I pick them up immediately. I do highly recommend this place and I honestly don't have anything negative to say because this place was nice.

I just moved in with my friend a few months ago and I have to say, it’s a pretty chill community. It’s fairly quiet and calm. During the summer you’ll get your fair share of little critters coming in but I’ve never seen anything that I would deem awful or sus. It’s a great area honestly. A perfect distance from grocery stores and everything. I absolutely enjoyed it. My only issues with here are, and I understand management can’t help it, it’s people stealing packages. It’s not frequent but it happens. And the fact that rent is a bit pricey. It’s a bit too much for the small place he’s in. Otherwise this place is great, well kept and comfortable. If it was just a little cheaper, I would’ve loved to stay here longer.

Nestor is amazing (maintenance crew) Since I have known him, which has been about a year now he has always been sweet, kind, hardworking and would go out his way for the residents. He always carries a smile on his face and has such a great spirit. I feel safe and very pleased anytime he has come into my home and fixed anything I needed done. As someone who is only 5’5 (lol) it’s hard for me to reach things for me to hang paintings etc and he has come and helped me out anytime I needed him to with no problem. Thank you for everything. I have lived at North Dallas Cortland for over 2 years. The staff is what keeps me here. Everyone is friendly, eager to assist, and happy! Maintenance is completed the same day. Office staff goes out of their way to assist. The outdoor crew keeps the property looking good and always takes the time to say Hi! Nestor works in my area frequently. He is so friendly and a hard worker! Thank you for making this a home!🙂

As a new resident who relocated from a different country, I cannot explain how easy and reliable Cortland North Dallas made the transition. A big shoutout to Crystal who never failed to stay in contact with me about deliveries or updates. She would contact me even on the weekends to ensure I was comfortable with where things were and practically held my hand digitally with filing the proper paperwork upon applying for my now apartment. The complex is beautiful and really well looked after from what I can see. The apartment itself is perfect and it’s clear they went the extra mile to make sure it was to a high standard of cleanliness before I moved in. All in all, the apartments are wonderful and the facilities are great, but what makes the place is the office and staff. I looked at several other complexes in Dallas and I went for Cortland North Dallas because of Crystal and her team.

Out of all the times we came in contact with any of the employees for any reason, regardless of whether or not they were busy they always took the time to greet us by name and made sure we were having a great day. If we could give this property 12 out of 10 stars for always going above and beyond for their residents, we more surely would. I came to look at another community in the neighborhood and Cortland was "calling" me in lol. I'm sure glad I decided to take a look. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome and the tour with Crystal was awesome. I had to choose this community, it was a perfect for me and she made the leasing process effortless and smooth!!! I've been here 5 months and anytime I need anything I just call the office and Jeremiah who is SO efficient/effective get's everything taken care of for me. I've had a hard time getting personal things in order trying to adjust to my move to Texas and Jeremiah has been extremely kind, patient and understanding. FIRST OFF! This management is AMAZING! If u want to have a luxury apartment living this is who u need to go with. I know the office staff has delt with my crazy emotions a few times but they were so professional and listened to me with open ears. The maintenance staff is so sweet! NESTOR is my fav :) he always stops to talk to me and always asks if I need anything. There are other guys (I don’t know all their names) but they always ask to help bring in my groceries for me when they see me struggling lol. I love this apartments. They are clean and well maintained, however time to renew the lease came up and the rent went up by $250. The management was unwilling to negotiate to bring the price a little down. I ended up moving which was very inconveniencing especially during the pandemic. I wish they had a little empathy, otherwise the apartments are great.

I was only there for a VERY short amount of time (less than a month) and had to move due to a pretty immediate job change. From the process of canceling the lease within their 30 day policy to ensuring everything was settled both when moving in and moving out was nothing short of spectacular. Chandler and the rest of the management and leasing team are so sweet and helpful and I GREATLY appreciate them putting up with all of my questions, concerns and process of moving out. I would highly recommend them as affordable and expertly managed if you can find a unit there because even in my short time I FULLY understood why they BARELY have vacancies.

Crystal was very helpful throughout my moving process. She kept me updated on documents needed, sent helpful reminders and had everything ready move day although she was out of the office. Even after moving she conacted me to see what I needed. I’ve never had an apartment complex communicate this well with me. You can tell that they care about your living experience. I love my new home it is defiently a upgrade from my last apartment and the peices is reasonable. The property stays clean and there is a sense of community through the portal. So far no complaints from me. The 4 star is just because there were minor items I needed repaired in my home but they were fixed quickly.

Nestor in maintenance is the best! I had 5 work orders before move out and he knocked them out with 15 minutes. He is so kind and I appreciate knowing he values the tenant's time. I'm leaving Cortland North Dallas due to the previous management and lack of transparency with "updated" apartments; however, I will say that the new management staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond. We'll see how move out goes at the end of June and I'll update this review.

When I moved in I was in a tight spot, trying to get into a new place really quickly. The day I came in I was supposed to move into The Ladera, right down the street. They’d taken all my money, and then denied me on my move in day. This was the same day I came into Cortland North Dallas. They were having an off day. The computers were down, there were only 2 people in the office, and the portal for residence to pay rent was also down. I got this information from a very friendly young lady in the office. I just can’t remember her name. Despite the obviously stressful situation going on, I was still able to tour and put in an application. I loved the apartment. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I decided to pull in to this apartment complex based on the curb appeal that it had. Absolutely beautiful and stunning once I stepped into the leasing office. I was greeted by a young lady name Chandler who I then started to ask many questions about the property. She was very knowledgeable about everything that I had asked about, shared with me pricing and what amenities came along with. She also made some great suggestions on who to choose for utilities. We took a walk around the property, and I was very impressed with their gym! Def no need to pay for somewhere. The unit that I was interested in wasn't quite ready yet but that was OK with me based on how I had been treated. Decided to go ahead and lease the apartment without it being seen because of the trust that was built by the representative. I came back a few days later to sign all my documents. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I decided to pull in to this apartment complex based on the curb a pill that it had. Absolutely beautiful and stunning once I stepped into the leasing office. I was greeted by a young lady name Chandler who I then started to ask many questions about the property. She was very knowledgeable about everything that I had asked about, shared with me pricing and what amenities came along with. She also made some great suggestions on who to choose for utilities. We took a walk around the property, and I was very impressed with their gym! Def no need to pay for somewhere. The unit that I was interested in wasn't quite ready yet but that was OK with me based on how I had been treated. Decided to go ahead and lease the apartment without it being seen because of the trust that was built by the representative. I came back a few days later to sign all my documents. Wow, so impressed by the Cortland North Dallas! We were planning to rent for no longer than 6 months because we were amidst buying a home...that was over a year and a half ago. We are looking to renew for the SECOND time! It’s a blessing to be taken care of SO well here. Just this morning, we emailed a request, and aster responded within 5 mins plus created a work order for us with a reasonable time frame! I went to create this review, and realized they aren’t even open yet! Chandler responded and submitted a work order outside of business hours!! Way to blow it out of the park, Cortland North Dallas! Seriously, living at a place where you can be comfortable and treated well with peace of mind is worth a tremendous amount, and we are proud to say we live here. We recommend you all to everyone we meet! Keep it up and thank you all so very much

Although Ive only been at The Aster for 2 months, I am LOVING the complex. The service team is always quick and awesome addressing any issues. The leasing team is the best someone reached out to check in on me during the snow storm, the manager even reached out to check in and see how everything was going a few weeks after I moved in. Landscaping crew stays active keeping the property beautiful and clean. Overall, I am loving the complex and definitely made the best decision moving in here!

Although I am moving from this resident, I must say that I am really surprised as to how the management handled this weather nightmare we are all currently going through. I am really impressed!! The fact that they still had maintenance working and calling to checking up on people?!?! Good job guys !!

I have been a resident at the Aster for 3 years now. The buildings are nicely renovated and the community is secure. They satisfy the usual requirements such as washer/dryer in unit, pest free, decent gym, covered parking, etc. I have had options to move about the metroplex, and I’m aware there are cheaper places. Despite the possibility of slight shorter commute and lower rent, I have opted to stay here solely because of the management and the maintenance team. It is a very rare occurrence to have a maintenance request go past 24 hours, and if it happens, they really do go out of their way to ensure I am taken care of. For the last few days, we have had a historic winter storm and the aftermath has rendered the entire metroplex immobile. And of course my shower just so conveniently decided to break right in the middle of it. Shout out to the maintenance team and Jeremiah who braved the icy roads to come into work to assist the residents!

I moved out of The Aster a few years ago and have lived at multiple places since, but even years later, I have to say that my apartment at The Aster was the best apartment I have ever lived in. The renovations in the apartment are beautiful, the amenities and the fitness center are clean and easily accessible, my unit was quiet and peaceful and had beautiful natural sunlight, and the prices are unbeatable. I had nothing but positive interactions with all the neighbors I came in to contact with during my time here, and I felt safe while at the pool and when walking around the community. I definitely recommend The Aster!

Nester is certainly a through, capable, and diligent staff at The Aster. He certainly follows the CDC guidelines when he enters your home, he's knowledge, is a good communicator and definitely does his job with perfection. Nester speaks to us residents when he sees you. He does GOOD WORK!!!!

5 stars for Nestor in maintenance!!! I’ve been living here for almost 3 years now... I’ve seen many people come & go with the maintenance staff in particular. Nestor the maintenance man, goes above what is expected. He takes his work seriously, get it right the first time which is rare around these parts. 😅 Long story short he’s a good one.

I visited here to narrow down a few options. I checked out the studio floor plan & fell completely in love! I love how friendly everyone in the front office is. Chandler has been SUPER helpful & patient. These are by far my most favorite property so far. The soft closing cabinets really sold me for some odd reason 😅

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Been living here for more than a year and I’ll stay here until I’m ready to buy a home. Staff is amazing and maintenance is superb. It is clean inside and out and has state of the art amenities. All in all safe and luxurious.

Recently moved here after looking at Cortland apartments and settled here. The people working at the office are great; they're fast to respond and ready to help! Chandler has been mainly helping me with my move and it has been stress-free. She even helped me transfer units after not wanting to live in the first floor. My unit was clean and appliances were in great condition when I moved in. Overall, the property has its basic amenities with great washers and dryers. The gyms that Cortland offer are a lot better than most apartments I've lived in. Some of the negatives: parking is kind of rough for visitors ,people need to know how to use/put their trash inside the compactor, and the bathroom ceiling is a little too low in my opinion. Outside of that, this is definitely a great place to live at.

I love living here, everyone treats me like family, like they genuinely care. This is the best place to live in Dallas. Work orders are completed super fast, clean property, and loving staff. They get things done here. And are always ready to help when needed. If I ever have to move, it would have to be to another Cortland property. Especially if they run all their properties like they do here at The Aster!

My experience, as a high maintenance, tenant was very good. Tiffany Brantley answered my 101 questions which allowed me to feel confident in my decision to sign the lease. The maintenance team that came in to fix any items throughout my stay were always professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Since covid they have been great about masks and social distancing as well. There were three people who helped me, but Brian and Eric are the names I remember. My close out was very smooth as well. Chandler Cooper was very communicative and was able to help with everything I needed. I am just waiting on the final inspection so I can get my deposit back. To the team as a whole, I like the new platform and the nice touches to make things "community" oriented. My qualms were all minor things I would have changed about the apartment itself. Overall, I had a great experience.

Even though I decided to live somewhere else, I still want to leave a review. I started looking at apartments at Aster by Cortland somewhere in July. Chandler was the one I first talked to and from then until now, she has been super helpful. She always have her customers in mind and looking out for them. She would send quotes to me every now and then offering me lots of moving opinions. She is great!

Great apartments. Newer build, and recently renovated. I very much enjoy living here. Covered parking is included in rent which I love. The pool area is nice and all the other amenities are very nice. Great location and quiet area. I have my own little yard which is really cool. In unit laundry is available which again I love.

I just recently moved in and I couldn't be happier! The apartment is in great condition and is very affordable. The leasing staff, Tamara in particular, was extremely enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful through the whole process in spite of the COVID crisis!
