After living here for a year I can say that this apartment provides good value for the money. Spacious apartments, close by to grocery stores and restaurants, and walking distance to the light rail stop. Maintenance has also been very quick and does a good job. Gym could use some new benches/equipment but is good for a quick workout and overall amenities are well maintained. Community is also pretty quiet, noise has never been a complaint for me. There are some downsides, sometimes I come home and it is apparent that the power went out at some point although its never happened with me in the apartment, and water pressure can be poor at times which is to be expected as these are older apartments. Besides the light rail not much is in easy walking distance due to lack of good sidewalks around. Office hours can be frustrating especially on move in but you can go to the Cortland property down the street and they will be there on the off days here. Overall I have been pleased with the value for the money. While

I have thoroughly enjoyed living in the Cortland Belgate community. It is a very clean, quiet, and beautiful property. They really go above and beyond such as having fun community social gatherings, providing free goodies for my dog, and even supporting physical health with their yoga classes. I even randomly walked in the leasing of office one day and was offered cookies! As someone who is quite detail oriented, their understanding and respectful approach has meant the world to me. Britney has been such a pleasure to work with as she always brings such a positive energy in every single conversation. She walked me through the process on my move in date (and throughout the application process). She really made sure I was all set to go. In addition, Ladonna is such a great manager and she is super knowledgeable. Before I moved in (and throughout my stay) , she has taken the time to intentionally walk me through any question in such great detail and I have been very impressed. I loved the property as soon as I drove up. Shoutout to Cliff, he was a huge help with the move, including the small tedious things like changing light bulbs!

We had an issue with our dryer and Sheldon came by rather quickly to resolve. He came. He was able to diagnose the issue, having had a similar experience with someone else, and quickly resolve the timer. This is not the first encounter with Belgate maintenance, but between him and Cliff, I’m a happy tenant!

I can't say enough great things about Cliff, our maintenance guy here at the apartment, Cliff was prompt, professional, and incredibly friendly. What really stood out was how approachable and kind he was. He took the time to check in to make sure everything was still working properly, which really shows how dedicated he is to his work. Cliff is a true asset to this apartment community. His work ethic, reliability, and positive energy make a big difference in everyday life here.
